It rather saddens me to realize the fact that practically every stage of our lives, our nett worth is determined by numbers. In school, we are valued by our grades. After graduating from school and thought I could have a break from numbers, we are valued by how much we can earn for the company. Again. So much for there is more to school / work than just grades and net valuation.
The harsh reality is this: Whether you like it or not, an essay machine —> money making machine will be valued / determined by numbers. Mere numbers you may say but these numbers affect your standing in school / company.
